Changing Seasons Series
2018

This series was born after life failed to give me what I wanted…. what I expected of it. As a result, I found myself in a place where I couldn’t control outcomes and had to surrender myself and my feelings and once again relying on my ever-faithful Higher Power for strength and understanding. 
Creating this series has allowed my mind, body and spirit to accept what I cannot change, process my emotions on canvas and ultimately giving me focus on new ventures within my control. I chose Isaiah 66:9 (I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born), as my Bible quote for this series because my faith has taught me time and time again to trust is His plan and the Seasons that life Presents to us. It reminds me that by trusting in Him through the painful seasons He will allow me to receive new birth, renewal and help me to move forward a little more each day.
Changing Seasons is creative works that explores feminine colors, shape and textures in an abstract format. It offers a feeling of playfulness and purity that is captured as a result of letting go as I change into the next season of my life.
