 Sunsets is a 13x13 inch original framed in a white wood floater frame. As a child and into my college years my family would vacation from Louisiana the beaches along the coast. Sunsets were always special to me. The sky colors, against the gulf waters was magical.Now, living on the emerald coast fo florida for 18 years, sunsets are just as special to my heart and essential for my happiness. This piece is inspired from sunsets past and present.the colors cotton candy skies mixed with the colors of the rainbow are God's beauty as perfection!

 This" Feels Like Summer "collection is a body of abstract mixed media works inspired by summer days that simply bring joy & happiness! For me summer has always been time where daily schedules take a break, travel plans come to life, time slows down & one enjoys longer days of sunshine,cool blue waters & ultimately feels JOY.
This is a textural body of work experimenting with a subtractive process that begins with color ,& markings and brushstrokes then works it’s way backwards by omitting parts of the colors, & overlapping shapes to make parts transparent. 

The Bible verse which inspired this collection is John:15:11- “ These things I say to you. That my joy remain in you & that your joy may be full.”
