SOLD SOLD!!!Blue Water Bliss- Capri- Italy is a 13 x13 inch framed original . Inspired by my recent trip to Italy, this piece was inspired from my visit to the Blue grotto on the way to Capri. When you enter the Grotto from a small row boat  i was taken back into the movie The Little Mermaid. The way the sunlight hot the azure water and changed into a turquoise blue was glowing and magical.

This "Feels Like Summer" collection is a body of abstract mixed media works inspired by summer days that simply bring joy & happiness! For me summer has always been time where daily schedules take a break, travel plans come to life, time slows down & one enjoys longer days of sunshine,cool blue waters & ultimately feels JOY.
This is a textural body of work experimenting with a subtractive process that begins with color ,& markings and brushstrokes then works it’s way backwards by omitting parts of the colors, & overlapping shapes to make parts transparent. 

The Bible verse which inspired this collection is John:15:11- “ These things I say to you. That my joy remain in you & that your joy may be full.”
