Vacay Mode is a 37x49 original framed in a pewter woof floater frame and is ready to hang. 

This piece is about letting go of your daily stressors and schedules while you are able to enjoy the adventures and sights of your vacation.Whether jet setting, or beach beach bound, it is about letting loose and feeling the Joy of vacay mode! my goal was to immolate this mindset with loose  brushstrokes and  playful marks.

 This collection is a body of abstract mixed media works inspired by summer days that simply bring joy & happiness! For me summer has always been time where daily schedules take a break, travel plans come to life, time slows down & one enjoys longer days of sunshine,cool blue waters & ultimately feels JOY.
This is a textural body of work experimenting with a subtractive process that begins with color ,& markings and brushstrokes then works it’s way backwards by omitting parts of the colors, & overlapping shapes to make parts transparent. 

The Bible verse which inspired this collection is John:15:11- “ These things I say to you. That my joy remain in you & that your joy may be full.”
